Maintenance is essential for the longevity of any machine. No matter how high quality the machine, maintenance is necessary to extend its service life. Below is a brief introduction to the maintenance and repair methods for molding machines.
1. Electrical Circuit: Pay attention to the cleanliness of the circuit boards. Regularly clean the dust from the power and data boxes, keeping them dry and preventing moisture.
2. Oil System: Check all parts of the oil system for leaks and address them promptly. Prevent piston rod scratches and oil deterioration.
3. Mechanical System: Check the machine's transmission parts for wear. Check each grease fitting for blockages and apply grease if necessary.
Other Precautions: It is recommended to change the hydraulic oil once a year and clean the oil tank of sludge. Clean the water cooler regularly to prevent oil temperature rise and accelerated oil aging. Of course, safety is paramount. During maintenance, always check that the electrical safety door switches, oil pressure relief valves, mechanical safety stops, and machine warning lights are functioning properly.
Routine Maintenance:
1. Before starting each shift, check all lubrication points in the equipment to ensure sufficient lubricating oil (grease). Add lubricating oil (grease) if necessary.
2. Listen for any abnormal noises from the operating equipment. If any abnormal noises are detected, contact relevant personnel to determine whether to stop the machine for repair and troubleshooting.
3. Check the temperature control and instrument displays for each process step. If any abnormalities are found, check the heating devices and temperature control system for proper functioning. Contact relevant personnel for repair if necessary.
4. After starting the shift, first check that all operating switches and buttons are in the correct positions, limit switches are secure, and safety doors operate flexibly and accurately to ensure production safety.
5. Before adding material to the hopper for the first shift, first check that the hopper is clean and remove all debris from inside and on the hopper.
6. Note that the screw should not be idle for more than 3 minutes. Except for pre-production test runs, the screw should not be allowed to idle at other times.
Regular Maintenance:
1. After the new equipment has been tested and put into production (at least 500 hours), all lubricating oil in the transmission parts must be thoroughly cleaned (including the lubricating oil in the gearbox), and replaced with new lubricating oil (grease).
2. Check the hydraulic oil level in the tank weekly. The oil level should be above the middle line on the dipstick. Add hydraulic oil as needed.
3. Check the quality of the hydraulic oil monthly. If the oil contains excessive impurities or water, address the issue promptly.
4. Check all connecting bolts and nuts at least weekly for looseness and tighten them if necessary.
5. Check all electrical wiring for looseness at least monthly and clean the ventilation and dustproof screen on the electrical control box.
6. Clean the hydraulic oil filter monthly.
7. During annual holidays, the hydraulic oil should be changed; all motors and hydraulic control valves should be cleaned; the bearing parts should be disassembled and cleaned, and new grease should be added. Severely worn rolling bearings should be replaced; thermocouple contacts should be cleaned; all circuit connections should be checked for firmness, aging circuits should be replaced, and instruments should be calibrated.
